Our Purpose

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves

  • to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,

  • to support the mission of the church worldwide,

  • to work for justice and peace, and

  • to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.

Presbyterian Women is a loving community that can challenge and nurture you and be a vehicle for making the world a better place for all of God’s children. Membership is open to all women. PW members are those women who choose to participate in or be supportive of PW in any way. In our life together, we are committed to the building of an inclusive, caring community in which we call forth the gifts of one another, thereby providing a place where women can grow in faith and in understanding of individual and cultural differences. Opportunities for supporting mission are provided through giving and service.
