Sunday School
These words that I am commanding you today must always be on your minds. Recite them to your children. Talk about them when you are sitting around your house and when you are out and about, when you are lying down and when you are getting up. ~ Deuteronomy 6:6–7
At FPC, we offer Sunday school classes for preschool through high school.*
Classes are led by volunteer teams of 2-4 teachers and are grouped as follows:
PreK - 5 yr. old - Room 13/15
1st, 2nd and 3rd Grade - Room 14/16
4th, 5th and 6th Grade - Youth room (upstairs)
7th - 8th Grade - Parish House
9th - 12th Grade “Breakfast Club” (1st and 3rd Sundays) - Room 22 (upstairs)
Our elementary classes learn fundamental Bible stories from the Spark curriculum. Our middle school students learn the chronological sequence of the Old and New Testaments along with Reformed traditions. We use the NRSV and the Common English Bible translation in our classrooms.
