Two Trains: Friendship and Gratitude

In 1947 Americans answered a call for help. The Friendship Train traveled across the country collecting food for Europeans who were starving after the devastation of WWII. A few years later, France found a way to show their gratitude. This is the story of the effort people will go to when they want to make a difference.

The FPC Women’s Association invites both men and women to join them to learn more about these post WWII trains at a covered dish luncheon in Fellowship Hall presented by speaker Jane Murphy. Please contact the church office at office@flemingtonpres.org if you have any questions.
