Franklin Delano Roosevelt - An Arsenal for Democracy

The Women’s Association is hosting a special program sponsored by the Horizons Speakers Bureau. Our guest speaker, Neill Hartley, will portray Franklin D. Roosevelt in December 1940 when the world was in crisis. Germany has destroyed Europe and FDR is about to deliver a speech “Arsenal of Democracy.” Learn what he was thinking, and listen to his plea for the support of our allies. Please arrive early as the performance will be held first, followed by a sandwich lunch and dessert. All church members and friends are invited. (This program is funded through the Horizons Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities. It is free and open to the public.)
