The cancelled October organ dedication recital has been rescheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 20th. Organist J. Jay Smith will present a recital and PowerPoint lecture on the church's new organ facade and renovations. The organ was built by the Austin Organ Company of Hartford, CT and consists of 40 ranks (sets of pipes) on three manuals with pedal board. The program includes "Stately Procession" by Norman Landis who was the organist at the time of the original installation, works of John Cook, George Thalben-Ball, Alec Rowley, Everett Titcomb and concludes with the monumental "Marche Pontificale" from the First Organ Symphony of Charles-Marie Widor. The public is cordially invited to attend.
