Third Sunday of Advent

Scripture Readings: Jeremiah 13:11; Mark 6:8–9

The Chancel Choir will perform the cantata "The Road to Bethlehem" by Lloyd Larson. In addition to the choir being directed and accompanied by Jay Smith, instrumentalists include Kathy Finnerty, piano; Janet Lubaszka, handbells; and Margaret Sheneman, flute. The cantata tells the journey of the Newborn King through music and is interpolated with readings. The prelude begins at 9:25 a.m.
