Thank you to the women who gathered to plan and lead the worship service this morning - Kathy Knight, Kim Manzella, Claire Covert, Anita Christman, Karen Buys, Mindy D’Amico, Janet Olivero, and Donna Foran. We offer this service with gratitude, remembering women throughout the ages who were held back from using their gifts to glorify God in public worship. In 2020, on Celebrate the Gifts of Women Sunday, we honor women of faith, those who may have felt their faith falter at times and those who held fast to faith. We give thanks for their persistence – their witness, their words, their actions. We know we stand on their shoulders. Thanks be to God!
