Sunday School

These words that I am commanding you today must always be on your minds. Recite them to your children. Talk about them when you are sitting around your house and when you are out and about, when you are lying down and when you are getting up. ~ Deuteronomy 6:6-7

At FPC, we offer Sunday school classes for preschool through 12th grade.*
Classes are led by volunteer teams of 3-4 teachers and are grouped as follows:

  • PreK - 5yr. old - room 13/15
  • 1st & 2nd Grade - room 14/16
  • 3rd & 4th Grade - room 25
  • 5th & 6th Grade - youth room
  • 7th & 8th Grade - parish house
  • 9th - 12th Grade; also known as our Breakfast Club - room 22

Our elementary classes learn fundamental Bible stories from Cokesbury's Deep Blue curriculum. Our middle school students learn the chronological sequence of the Old and New Testaments along with Reformed traditions, while our Breakfast Club (Sr. Highs), study how these Biblical lessons apply to their own lives in our modern world. We use the NRSV and the Common English Bible translation in our classrooms.

*If you are new to FPC or haven't filled out a Sunday school registration form (this includes newborn through 12th grade) in the past two years, PLEASE take the time to Register Online. These forms are not only important for your child's well-being, they also help us for planning purposes, curriculum, supplies, etc.
